Diversify Educational Programs and Activities at your School, District, or University

This workshop offers practical skills for navigating complex and emerging landscapes related to gender identity and expression in educational environments, including complaints of misgendering, mispronouncing, and deadnaming.

ATIXA’s expert faculty members will discuss best practices to comply with relevant federal laws and court decisions, including when state or local laws conflict. There is a lack of consensus among courts when Title IX/Equal Protection rights intersect with First Amendment freedoms, whether inside or outside the classroom. This workshop is designed to assist Title IX administrators in managing these complex matters.

ATIXA’s expert faculty members will present best practices for a school or institution to support gender diversity and offer recommendations to ensure a supportive and inclusive educational community while protecting religious and academic freedom.
